On Jan. 8, the high school guidance office hosted its annual Financial Aid Night in the library for senior students and parents. School counselor Andrew  Akapnitis opened the evening by welcoming those in attendance and offering some suggestions for families beginning the college financial aid process.

Debbie O’Conner, a financial aid representative from Molloy College, presented a comprehensive presentation on the FAFSA process, including instructions and tips on how to apply for scholarships, loans, grants and other services.

The well-attended event concluded with a question-and-answer session. Financial Aid Night is part of the guidance department’s series of college night events.
