The Island Harvest Food Pantry will be distributing free food for families EVERY TUESDAY and FRIDAY at Edmund W. Miles Middle School from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. The address is 501 Broadway, Amityville NY, 11726.

ESL Course
FREE English as a Second Language courses are being offered by Long Island EOC. Click here if you are interested in applying for them.
These courses introduce students to basic structures and vocabulary of the English language through reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Students learn strategies to advance their reading, listening, and pronunciation skills. They expand oral comprehensibility and write complete sentences. They utilize level-appropriate conventions of grammar and punctuation while minimizing errors.
Long Island EOC is also offering other free vocational training programs which can be found on their website.
