Amityville Memorial High School honored newly inducted National Honor Society members during its annual ceremony on April 13.

District administrators, parents, high school Principal Mary Stephens and assistant principals Kenneth Coard and Dr. John Cardone were in attendance as 31 students were inducted to the National Honor Society. To achieve this prestigious honor, students must have acquired a cumulative GPA of at least 85%, completed voluntary community service, exhibit leadership qualities and possess good character.

The district congratulates each new member of the National Honor Society on this impressive achievement and wishes them luck with their newly appointed positions.
