The Amityville School District is proud to announce that 10 students will obtain the New York State Seal of Biliteracy from Amityville Memorial High School for the 2022-2023 school year.

High school students Danelli Alberto Alcantara, Fernando Cruz Reyes, Dimarion Donaldson, Sheyla Medina Cruz, Daniella Henriquez, Beyki Jimenez Gomez, Jairo Salazar, Diego Depadua Acosta, Karen Tobar and Jennifer Banegas will receive this designation on their high school diploma. The presentations took place from April 26-28 in which students presented in both English and Spanish, demonstrating proficiency in each language. The topics they chose were very meaningful to them, and they enjoyed discussing their projects with the evaluators. It was an amazing experience for everyone.

The district congratulates all of the students who earned the Seal of Biliteracy.
