On May 23, second graders from Northwest Elementary School in Amityville visited Park Avenue Memorial Elementary School for an orientation.

Park Avenue held an assembly in which second graders learned what to expect at the school next year. Northwest students heard from current third graders who gave them advice and answered their questions.

The orientation concluded with a tour of Park Avenue’s building with the help of fifth-grade students.
