On May 21, second graders in the Amityville School District visited Park Avenue Memorial Elementary School for the school’s annual orientation.  

They were greeted by Park Avenue students and staff members. Additionally, second graders met Park Avenue Principal Mr. Edward Plaia while school counselor Ms. Kimberly Balducci held a presentation for the students. Additionally, third graders shared their advice on being a student at Park Avenue advice for next year and they held a question-and-answer session.  

The orientation concluded with a building tour guided by the fifth-grade student ambassadors.
